Ola Söderström: World of Relatedness.

Comparing trajectories of urban development in Hanoi and Ouagadougou.

Urban development has been increasingly conceived in recent years as constituted by different mobilities: of policies, experts, capital or built forms. However, mobilities are but one aspect of a borader world of more or less traceable relations of cities with different elsewheres.

In his talk, Prof. Söderström will suggest - using research in Hanoi, Vietnam and Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso - ways to analyse and compare cities' worlds of relatedness.
