Call for applications: Visiting Researchers at Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG)

The Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG) conducts basic research on the governance of modern societies. It aims to develop an empirically based theory of the social and political foundations of modern economies by investigating the interrelation between social, economic, and political action.
Applications are welcome to join their Visiting Researchers Program in the winter semester 2025/26 as Visiting Researchers (f/m/d).
The program is intended for researchers from the fields of economic sociology as well as comparative and international political economy. It offers stays generally ranging from two to twelve months. Applications are welcome from professors and postdoctoral and doctoral researchers based in Germany or abroad. Your intended research project should relate to the MPIfG's research program and ongoing projects at the Institute.
