SUMMARY:Experimental Runway & Fashion Show: “WAX COLLECTION”
DESCRIPTION:Experimental Runway & Fashion Show of the WAX Collection (Kumas
 i\, Accra\, Basel\, Berlin)\\r\\nIf patterns are narratives\, what happens
when we reprint them? The WAX Collection reads textiles as archives of gl
obal movements: from industrial reproduction in Europe to their reinterpre
tations in West Africa. The starting point for this show is the historical
connection between Basel and Ghana—copied fabrics\, shifted meanings\,
circulating power relations. “WAX COLLECTION” reverses this movement.\
\r\\nThe exhibition “WAX THE CHURCH\, WAX THE FUTURE\, WAX THE RICH” t
ransforms this history into a visual intervention that understands fashion
as a global space for thought: clothing speaks and contradicts. Created i
 n collaborative processes between Accra\, Kumasi\, Basel\, Berlin\, Paris\
, and Palermo\, the show combines experimental materials and transparent l
ayers to form a collective textile manifesto: a catwalk as a place of aest
hetic research and future imagination.\\r\\nFollowed by a public discussio
 n – a GROUP50:50 production
