DESCRIPTION:For the eleventh time\, Jazzwerkstatt Bern will be hosting musi
 cians from  around the world at the Progr cultural center in Bern. Around 
 90  performers from Morocco\, South Africa\, USA\, Germany\, Austria\,  Sw
 itzerland\, Denmark\, Sweden\, Canada\, Italy\, Modova and Spain will be  
 making new connections\, forming new ensembles\, and presenting bands  tha
 t\, frankly\, everyone should already have been talking about for ages  no
 w. Jazzwerkstatt Bern is about exchange and networking\, curiosity and  ex
 perimentation\, in short: for music that thinks outside of the box.  This 
 year’s guest curator\, the South African bassist\, composer and  produce
 r Shane Cooper\, is responsible for a particularly wide spectrum  of progr
 amming.\\r\\nMany of the rehearsals for the numerous world premieres will 
 take place  during the festival and will be open to the public in the afte
