The Centre for African Studies has been documenting and coordinating the teaching relating to Africa since Autumn 2002. Thereby it not only caters for students from the MA course and the PhD programme in African Studies but also for a large community of students interested in Africa from all disciplines. Due to our English language policy we attract students from all over the world. At this time around 50 students are studying for an MA or PhD in African Studies and many students from other disciplines attend Africa-related courses and conduct Africa-related research.
It is our goal to support all students either through direct consultation with us, referral to our lecturers or to the appropriate university structures.
