Sexism and racism are deeply embedded in our society. While the need to end these forms of discrimination in academia is widely acknowledged, structural and systemic barriers, along with the lack of an intersectional approach, continue to hinder meaningful change. The University of Bern invites you for a lecture and discussion with Dr. Bontu Lucie Guschke on the intersection of racism and sexism in academia and how intersectional approaches can effectively address discrimination and combat inequalities in higher education.
The lecture will be held in English with subtitles in German. Registration until 30 April 2025.
