Bernard Gardi: "Following the Thread: On the Significance and Interconnectedness of Textiles in the African Sahel"
Bernard Gardi, former curator of the Africa department of the MKB, will celebrate his 80th birthday in 2026. This event, in the form of a lecture by Gardi on his lifelong interest and research on textiles in West Africa, as well as the subsequent discussion with invited guests and the audience, serves as an appropriate setting to recognize Gardi’s work and previous engagements.
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
