The band from Dakar mixes Afrobeat, blues, funk, jazz and reggae to create their very own kaleidoscopic soundscape. Frontman Sahad Sarr sees himself as a "bush taxi on an endless journey, roaming the world in search of the treasures born from our differences, gathering them to share through sound." To these influences, he adds his Senegalese heritage and celebrates his own culture with traditional rhythms or song lyrics in Wolof, which shapes the language and has earned him the admiration of the Dakar music scene.
