In “Is that all there is,” Basel-based choreographer and performer Tabea Martin and the Soundsisters, a young women's DJ collective from Marrakesh, explore the taboo subject of loneliness.

How do we connect in times of extreme polarization and isolation? How is loneliness perceived differently?
 
In an individualistic society, people are caught in a paradox: on the one hand, they desire infinite freedom and self-determination; on the other, they crave belonging and honest exchange.
“Is that all there is” explores how we deal with dependence and examines the causes, shame, and consequences of loneliness, separation, and being alone.
Three dancers move between isolation and extreme closeness. They are driven by the music of freedom and the fear of being alone.
