An art and film program by Kunsthalle Basel at Stadtkino Basel.

As part of Diambes exhibition “Bees beings beans”, “Screen Dialogs” presents films that deal with land, natural resources, and colonial continuities:

• “Há Terra!” ("There Is Land!") by Ana Vaz follows a young woman from the landless movement in Brazil, connecting landscape, body, and history to highlight the ongoing impact of colonialism;
• “Terra Nakupa” by Juliana Vicente follows Black and Indigenous movements in Brazil, blending documentary and fiction to explore how these groups reclaim memory and political voice.

The films enter into dialogue with the exhibition and ask how we live with land, protect knowledge, and think of care as a form of resistance.

Admission is free. The Stadtkino bar will be open, and free popcorn will be available before the screening.
