In her 1986 short film "The Architect of Luxor", Saab explores Egypt's architectural heritage together with a young architect. In "The Rise of Fundamentalism" (1986), she depicts the early Mubarak years in transition. "Al'Alma', Belly Dancers" (1986) is a lively homage to the art form.
