swisspeace course: Peace Mediation

Conflicts are a constant part of human history but do not necessarily have to lead to violent conflicts. Mediators seek to bring conflict parties to the negotiating table and support them in finding agreements in order to avoid or transform violent conflicts.
This training provides you with insights about the challenges that mediators face when facilitating dialogue and searching for peace agreements.
By completing this 2-day training, you:become familiar with the most important concepts, definitions and challenges relevant to mediators
- understand what the specific added values of a mediator are for the resolution of conflicts
- practice inter-personal negotiation techniques
