Job: Junior Curator (f/m/d) for the Africa department

The Linden-Museum Stuttgart – Staatliches Museum für Völkerkunde – is looking for a full-time (100 %) junior curator at the next possible date. The position is limited to two years and will be graded in pay group 13 of the current collective agreement for the Federal States in Germany (TV-L).
The junior curator supports the senior curator in representing the Africa department in scientific and organizational matters. This includes, among other things, the further research of the Africa collections as well as the initiation and implementation of cooperations with
external partners.
The collections to be looked after comprise about 40,000 objects with a focus on Cameroon, Congo and Tanzania, among others.
