Job: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Politics of Race and Decolonial Studies Grade 7-9

The Department of Politics seeks to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the Politics of Race and Decolonial studies. You will play a leading role in the interdisciplinary MA in International Slavery, delivered in partnership with the Slavery Museum, National Museums Liverpool and support the development of 1) the Centre for the Study of International Slavery (CSIS) and the cross-Faculty research theme: Slavery and Unfree Labour 2) ongoing policy research in related areas, e.g. international development, migration/border issues, Modern Slavery. You will have a PhD in a relevant discipline (or equivalent qualifications/ experience) and evidence of an emerging (grade 7/8) or established (grade 9) track-record of producing high quality research and publications.
