Thandi Ntuli

The young pianist from South Africa is in residence in Basel and Bern

Already in February 2018 Thandi Ntuli captured the audience of the Mini-Festival Msanzi Encounters organized in the framework of our conference Crossroads. In February 2019 she then headlined the Festival Jazzwerkstatt Bern with her great Art Ensemble. To start off her three months' residency at the bird's eye jazz club she presents her CD Exiled supported by a Swiss-South african Sextet (29.3.-4.4.2019).

During her sojourn she then develops a new project Sketches of Mali inspired by Miles Davis, which she will present at the bird's eye jazz club (5.-8.6.2019).
