Call for applications: Visiting Research Fellowships
HUMA, the Institute for Humanities in Africa
Supported by Carnegie Corporation of New York (CCNY) within the framework of the DEAL/HUMA3 grant, the Institute for Humanities in Africa (HUMA) at the University of Cape Town will award seven (7) visiting fellowships for a period up to a maximum of three months for Africa-based early career scholars from any academic discipline researching Artificial Intelligence.
HUMA, the Institute for Humanities in Africa, is a hub of innovative research that opens up new areas of interdisciplinary inquiry. HUMA takes a broad view of the humanities, encompassing other scientific endeavours that place the humanities at the core of their work.
Application deadlines: 10 May for Term 3 stays from July-September 2024 | 30 April for Term 4 stays from October-December 2024 | 31 August for Term 1 stays from February-April 2025
