Call for papers: 26. Afrikanist*innentag
18–20 June 2025, Department of African Studies, University of Vienna
The 26th Afrikanist*innentag will take place in cooperation with the Department of African Studies, University of Vienna and the African Studies Association from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 June 2025 at the University of Vienna.
All submissions that can be assigned to the heterogeneous field of African Studies are welcome. This primarily includes African languages and literatures in all their manifestations, as well as their underlying socio-cultural and historical conditions and uses. Proposals on all linguistic sub-areas are just as welcome as proposals that pursue social, literary, cultural or historical approaches and methods of African Studies.
