Call for papers and organized sessions: “Policies for a sustainable rural transformation in Africa”

MIASA Policy Conference, 22-23 June 2022 (University of Ghana)

On 22-23 June 2022, the Merian Institute for Advanced Studies in Africa (MIASA) will hold its first Policy Conference at the University of Ghana. This first MIASA policy conference on “Policies for a sustainable rural transformation in Africa” is meant to provide a space for exchange between researchers, policy makers, development practitioners and other stakeholders in rural development to present and discuss the most recent policy-relevant research findings.

The present call invites proposals for organized sessions (with up to 3 speakers) and individual research papers. The deadline for submission is 3 April 2022.

The conference is organized by MIASA at the University of Ghana in collaboration with the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, and the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA), Germany.
