Call for papers: Sub-Saharan Africa and the Sustainable Development Goals: perspectives, implementation and pressing issues
Virtual conference, Center for African Studies of the University of Porto (23 April 2021)
On the 23rd of April 2021, the Center for African Studies of the University of Porto will host a virtual conference to explore the role of African Studies in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This conference aims to debate the African Studies contribution to the SDGs and how an area study, due to its multidisciplinary nature, can develop research to potentially address the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
This call invites researchers who want to contribute to the analysis of, and debates on the SDGs in the African Continent to submit their abstracts.
Submissions by young researchers or members from under-represented communities are particularly welcome.
