Call: IGS North-South Summer School 2019 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast (13-23 June 2019)
Integrated research for sustainable development: Combining public health, natural resource management, and corporate social responsibility approaches
The 2019 Summer School of the International Graduate School (IGS) North-South will focus on "integrated approaches in development research" and will combine public health, natural resource management, and corporate social responsibility approaches.
The goal of the Summer School is to provide an intercultural, inter- and transdisciplinary learning and exchange platform for PhD students from different countries around the world, representing a number of different scientific disciplines. The event is also designed to lay the basis for future bi- or multilateral research collaborations.
The main target groups of the course are Northern and Southern PhD candidates at an early or advanced stage of their project, and senior researchers from the global South who are doing research on sustainable development and global change, and are engaged in an interdisciplinary research partnership project. Please note that the number of participants is limited.
