Call: Early Career Award of the SAGW
Early Career Award 2024 of the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences (SAGW)
Each year the SAGW awards this prize to excellent up-and-coming researchers who have published an outstanding scientific paper. The Early Career Award is divided into three prizes: "Gold" with 10 000 Swiss francs, "Silver" with 5000 Swiss francs and "Bronze" with 3000 Swiss francs.
In 2023, Frida Lyonga, PhD student in African Studies at the University of Basel was awarded bronze for her article "How Context Matters: Change and Persistence of Homophobic Attitudes among Cameroonian Migrants in Switzerland".
