Job: Post-Doc Research Associate, African Humanities Colloquium

African Humanities Colloquium, Princeton University

The African Humanities Colloquium at Princeton University invites applications for a postdoctoral or more senior research position for the 2023-2024 academic year. Consideration will be given to scholars working in any field of the humanities dealing with Africa or the African diaspora. Scholars of all disciplines in the humanities broadly defined, including anthropology, art and archeology, comparative literature, English, film and video history, literatures in other languages, music, philosophy, drama and performance, sexuality studies, digital humanities, environmental humanities, religion, and women and gender studies will be considered. The successful candidate will be involved in the organization and activities of the African Humanities Colloquium and may be able to teach one course each year. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to advise students in their area of expertise or related areas. When teaching, the successful candidate will carry a secondary teaching rank.
