Episode 6 of the South African Jazz Showcase series features the one and only Sydney Mavundla on trumpet, and the extraordinary Afrika Mkhize on keys. These two legends are joined by up & coming bandleader and upright bass player Amaeshi Ikechi.
Syd, with his huge warm tone, Afrika bringing the fire, both held together by Amaeshi's vibrant groove. They swing hard, and make beautiful music together.
