Concert: Thandi Ntuli's Sketches of Mali
With her new project, ‘Sketches of Mali’, inspired by Mile Davis’ Sketches of Spain, Thandi Ntuli explores the music of Mali, interwoven with her own compositional voice rooted in the musical traditions of South Africa. It is a ‘heritage driven’ project, which is representative of what Ntuli perceives to be her experience in the world at present.
