The Research Colloquium provides a forum for local and international scholars to engage in crossdisciplinary and methodological debates in Southern African Studies, with particular reference to Namibian Studies. Guests are welcome.

In this collaborative lecture between the Namibian & Southern African Studies Research Colloquium and Middle Eastern Studies (University of Basel), Dirk Moses explores vital categories and concepts for southern African history and politics. He is Spitzer Professor of International Relations at the City College of New York, author of works on genocide, memory studies and intellectual history, and editor of the Journal of Genocide Research.

Jointly organized by the University of Namibia, the University of Basel and the Basler Afrika Bibliographien.
