Movie: "Looking for Muhyiddin"
A man (played by the director Nacer Khemir) returns home to Tunisia to bury his mother. To fulfill a promise to his father, he sets out to find traces of Muhyiddin Ibn 'Arabi, the great Islamic theologian, mystic and poet of the 13th century. His research into Muhyiddin's cosmopolitan and humane Islam, which today threatens to be forgotten, leads him through nine countries and to many encounters that reveal new facets of the great thinker. Looking for Muhyiddin is a deeply lyrical odyssey into the soul of Islam.
