Documentary by Joël Akafou (Bukina Faso, Belgique, France, 2020)

A young Ivorian who has managed the dangerous Mediterranean crossing, Bourgeois languishes in an Italian refugee camp but wants to live in France. Between shame at his failure and sexual opportunism, between phone calls to his mother and twists of fate, Bourgeois involves us in his effort to reach the promised land.

Joël Akafou produces a new chapter on the life of Touré Inza Jr., whom we met in Vivre riche, and describes the torments of African youth who try to make it by breaking the walls of the European citadel, whatever the cost.
