PPE Conference 2020: World-scale justice: beyond Global North & Global South?
Witten/Herdecke University announces the first digital and free version of the 5th International PPE Conference 2020.Through this digital conference they aim at building bridges between the “Gobal South” and “Global North” by bringing together critical thinkers all around the globe who study, work or research at the intersections of politics, philosophy and economics.
Topic: This year's conference tackles the topic “World-scale justice: beyond Global North & Global South?” by analysing the reasons and implications of global inequalities emerging from climate change, the provision of global public goods, migration, sustainable development etc.
Participants have the chance to engage in multi-perspective discussions with more than 200 students and young scholars from around the world, listen to a selected set of keynote speakers and apply their knowledge in interactive workshops.
Time and Place: The Conference will take place virtually from 4th to 6th September 2020 via an online communication platform that we will announce soon!
Registration: Even though the conference is for free and takes place digitally, it is necessary to register bindingly.
