Call for proposals: Special Issue
Swiss Journal of Sociocultural Anthropology (formerly TSANTSA)
The Swiss Journal of Sociocultural Anthropology – formerly TSANTSA – invites proposals for a Special Issue. The journal’s Special Issue offers guest editors, in collaboration with the editorial board, an opportunity to unravel anthropological topics and tropes from various perspectives in a series of articles, each contributing to the in-depth discussion of a unifying theme. The Special Issue explores themes of relevance and sheds light on the current state of research in social and cultural anthropology. The Special Issue consists of 4 to 6 articles and an introduction in English, French or German. Proposals containing articles in more than one of the journal’s publication languages are encouraged. All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer-review and articles are published Open Access free of charge.
Proposals may either take the form of a Call for Papers or consist of a short thematic outline followed by a list of proposed contributions. Diversity of gender, nationality, or academic position amongst the guest editors and/or authors is encouraged.
Deadline: Special Issue proposals shall be submitted no later than 20 December 2022.
