The Journal of African Youth Literature Review (Jay Lit Review) will publish critiques, commentary, and research in the field of African youth literature and literacy.
In addition to the creative writing journal Jay Lit (Journal of African Youth Literature) – a collection of poetry, short stories, visual stories and essays around the broad theme of African youth – the publishers have started a sister publication, the Jay Lit Review.
The publishers are interested in scholarly articles and essays in the African Humanities fields, particularly by young and upcoming researchers, but all are welcome to submit. They welcome reflections on the teaching of African languages, as this is rightfully and finally becoming more common in institutions of learning. They also offer translators the opportunity to showcase their skills.
The attached call for submissions describes more about the Jay Lit Review. The deadline is rolling and thus always open. A double-blind peer review system will be in place.
