Outreach
The goal of our outreach activities is to promote the exchange between academia and the wider public. On the one hand, society should benefit from Africa-related research at the University. On the other hand, this exchange offers new perspectives and approaches for our academic work.
Our outreach activities include events for a wider public, mostly related to current issues, such as lectures, conferences, exhibitions or tours, that we organise as a convenor or in collaboration with our partner institutions.
An important part of our outreach activities is the continuing education programme.
In addition, the Afrika-Bulletin, which is published by the ZASB and the Afrika-Komitee Basel four times per year, addresses a wider readership.
