Start-up Grants: History, Social Sciences and Literary Studies

The Graduate School of Social Sciences (G3S) offers three, the Basel Graduate School of History (BGSH) and the Doctoral Program in Literary Studies of the University of Basel each offer two start-up grants, starting on 1 April 2022.
The aim of the start-up grants is to enable young researchers to develop a competitive application for a research grant or research project position during the first six months. The payment of the second installment of the scholarship depends on the submission of such a funding proposal to a funding institution.
Deadline for application: 15 November (History); 19 November 2021 (Social Sciences); 5 December 2021 (Literary Studies)
