Join the lunch talk with two Namibian artists who are presenting their current projects.
Tjijandjeua “Gift” Uzera is an interdisciplinary artist working across dance, voice, film, and spatial installation. His practice draws on embodied storytelling, archival materials, and sound traditions to explore queerness, cultural memory, and the politics of the body. Currently an artist in residence at Akademie Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart, he reframes colonial shadows by engaging with African-German family histories.
Tweyapewa Ndapandula Mbendeka is a visual artist whose work is rooted in storytelling, cultural memory, identity and material explorations, especially ceramics, mixed media, painting, installation and sculpture. Currently an artist in residence at Akademie Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart, he reimagines ancestral narratives and contemporary dialogues.
