The Alliance for African Partnership invites you to an engaging AAP Public Dialogue aimed at exploring AI’s transformative potential in African education. This public dialogue will bring together policymakers, educators, researchers, and technology experts to explore the transformative potential of AI in education.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping numerous fields, and education is no exception. This dialogue will focus on AI's applications in improving access, equity, and quality in education across Africa, especially in overcoming unique regional challenges. Key discussions will address AI-driven tools for personalized learning, skill-building for future job markets, and critical policies needed to ensure ethical, equitable, and sustainable AI integration in education.

The dialogue will include five key panels focusing on different dimensions of AI’s role in African education with the following objectives:

• Explore AI applications for equitable access and improved quality in African education systems;
• Identify risks and challenges associated with AI in education and propose strategies to address them;
• Foster collaboration among governments, institutions, and stakeholders for sustainable AI use;
• Discuss policies, infrastructure, and capacity-building essential for ethical AI-driven education in Africa.
