In this workshop, Solveig Suess, Kenny Cupers and Shourideh Molavi will present various interventions that employ film as a medium through which academic research is activated. Showing short screenings of their works, the session examines filmmaking as a form of practice research that can take very different forms and directions and which mobilizes various community-based, artistic, and legal fora to enhance critical knowledge production.
