Job: PhD position in Media/Sound Studies and History/African Studies

The interdisciplinary and international research project “The (In)Audible Past”, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and carried out in cooperation with the South African universities of Rhodes, Makhanda, and Fort Hare, East London, is looking for a PhD student with a research project at the interface of media studies (with a focus on sound studies) and historical studies (with a focus on African studies/postcolonial studies). The project and post is due to start on 1 April 2022.
