Call for applications: Doc.Mobility@unibas 2022
The call is aimed at doctoral students at the University of Basel who wish to strengthen their scientific network at a research institute abroad. The mobility grants enable a research stay of six to twelve months abroad in order to deepen scientific knowledge and to advance the doctoral thesis.
Doc.Mobility@unibas includes a contribution to cover the costs of living abroad, calculated according to family status and chosen place of residence, a lump sum for travel expenses and a contribution to possible conference costs. The funding period is six to twelve months.
Doctoral students who have been enrolled at the University of Basel for twelve months prior to the submission of the application and who do not already have funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation can apply. A stay at the partner university as part of a cotutelle de thèse is not possible.
Applications can be submitted electronically by 1 March and 1 September (both at 5 pm). The earliest possible start of the stay abroad is the following 1 June or 1 December.
