From 30 June to 3 July 2027, Lisbon will welcome scholars from across the world for the 11th European Conference of African Studies (ECAS2027): African Prisms.

The theme, “African Prisms”, aims to speak to the multiplicity of disciplines, perspectives, methods, histories, and images that shape the contemporary study of Africa.

The call for papers for ECAS2027 is open now and closes on 4 January 2027.
