The Solution-oriented Research for Development (SOR4D) program invites researchers and non-academic actors from policy and practice to collaborate in transnational and transdisciplinary consortia.

The SOR4D programme supports transdisciplinary projects with solution-oriented approaches that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and reducing poverty. It supports researchers from Switzerland in developing concrete innovative solutions for global challenges, together with researchers and practice partners from partner countries in the Global South.

The project selection consists of a two-stage process. The deadline for submitting pre-proposals is 18 May 2026, 5 pm (Swiss local time).
