Doctoral Position: Health discourses as moral communication? Linguistic case studies from Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon

The Chair for Romance Linguistics at the University of Bayreuth offers the opportunity to complete a doctorate/PhD in linguistics under the supervision of Professor Martina Drescher and therefore seeks to recruit as soon as possible a PhD student (m/f/d) (TV-L E 13, part-time 75%).

The PhD student will be part of a research project on "Health discourses as moral communication? Linguistic case studies from Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon" and primarily deal with the Cameroonian part of the project. The research will be conducted mainly in French, but excellent proficiency in English, the lingua franca of the Cluster, is also required. The proposed position is a fixed-term appointment for four years.
