The UIA cordially invites you to its Associations Round Table Europe 2018.
For over 100 years the UIA has been working to promote and facilitate the work of international associations.
The UIA Associations Round Table is an opportunity to learn through networking and through practice:
This year the Round Table Europe will take place Thursday 15 and Friday 16 November 2018 at the Lyon Convention Centre, Lyon, France.
Programme: Presentations by peers working in international associations on common challenges, with small group discussions to ask in-depth questions and to share and exchange knowledge and experience. An overview of the programme is below. For full details, please see the Round Table website (roundtable.uia.org).
Registration fee: 55 euros. Thanks to the support of our partners, especially Lyon Convention Bureau , Lyon for Events, the Lyon Convention Centre , and Gyeonggi MICE Bureau, we are able to offer a high-level educational programme for a low fee. All other elements of the programme are complimentary. Delegates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and expenses. Note this! The first 20 registrations are free! With thanks to the Gyeonggi MICE Bureau.
Who is invited? People working in and with (international) associations. We expect about 120 participants.

Who is UIA? UIA - Union of International Associations - is a research institute founded in 1907 to promote and document the work of international associations. Its primary task is the collection and dissemination of information on international associations, fulfilled largely by its two main publications: the Yearbook of International Organizations, and the International Congress Calendar. The UIA also promotes the work of international associations by organizing educational activities, such as the Round Table. It is the only activity for which UIA charges a - nominal - fee.
