The ECAS-VAD 2026 conference will include a Marketplace & Book Exhibit, offering a space for publishers, institutions, networks and research initiatives to showcase their activities and publications. 

Location

The conference will take place in the University of Basel main building (Kollegienhaus, Petersplatz 1, 4051 Basel, 1^st floor). The marketplace/exhibit space will be situated right outside the rooms where panels and special sessions will be held, in proximity to the coffee stations.

At the conference venue, exhibitors will have at their disposal:

• the number of tables (150cm x 75cm) booked + two chairs (or a bench)
• exhibition space (one table: ca 6 m2; two tables: ca 10 m2; 3 tables: ca 14 m2)
• electric supply (Swiss standard)
• access to the event WiFi
• storage space for books and equipment

Virtual Venue

The conference Virtual Venue allows all conference participants – those participating on-site and those participating online – to explore the program, plan their personal schedule, meet and exchange with other participants via chat and messaging and stream session recordings during and after the conference. 

Exhibitors will be listed on the Virtual Venue, including:

• logo on the Marketplace & Book Exhibit page;
• dedicated profile page with text and video content, downloads and links;
• interaction with conference participants via chat and video meetings.

Exhibitors can register one staff member free of charge.
