Discussion: "Zimbabwe Youth Participation in the Context of Elections"
This event dicusses the participation of the youth in Simbabwe, on the occasion of Zimbabwe's election year 2023. The months before, during and after elections offer opportunities and challenges for youth agency and youth participation. Three months before elections in Zimbabwe fepa discusses with three young women what the election context means for young people and their participation in society and development. With Gamu and Connie from ‘Youth Empowerment and Transformation Trust’ and a representative of ‘Girls Table’, a Bulawayo-based organisation that amplifies the voices of girls and young women on socio-economic, political and cultural issues.
