Gabriela Veronelli: "Interrogating the Colonial Legacy of Linguistics as a first step towards Decolonization"
The guest lecture will take place in the context of the seminar "A critical view on linguistics from a postcolonial and decolonial perspective". Research approaches of postcolonial and decolonial linguistics, which have emerged in the course of a critical contemporary linguistics and as a reaction to Eurocentric practices, will be discussed.
