Turmhaus-Talks: "Elephant conservation in Tanzania. And what bees have to do with it"
Lameck Mkuburo is one of Tanzania‘s most prominent wildlife biologists. In 2019, he founded the Tanzanian Elephant Foundation (TEF). Its aim is to record the traditional routes of migratory elephants, raise public and political awareness of these migratory movements and reduce conflicts with the local population. In his presentation, Lameck Mkuburo describes the challenges of protecting endangered elephants. And the role bees play in this.
