Call for papers: Challenging Conflict Research in Africa
MIASA-PAPA International Colloquium, University of Ghana (10-12 December 2021)
The Maria Sibylla Merian Institute for Advanced Studies in Africa (MIASA) invites researchers to submit proposals for the upcoming International Colloquium "Challenging Conflict Research in Africa: Epistemological, theoretical and methodological issues" in the following thematic tracks:
- Identities, historicities, alterity
- Broadening the field ofobservation
- The voice of fire that is heard, hear the voice of water
by 1 October 2021. The 500-word proposal should indicate the chosen focus and the title of the paper and include a summary of the context and problem. A biographical note indicating the author's discipline and institutional affiliation is also required.
