Call for panels: “African Futures”
European Conference on African Studies (ECAS), 31 May - 3 June 2023, Cologne, Germany
The call for panels for the 9th European Conference on African Studies is now open. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 3 October 2022. The conference theme, “African Futures”, aims to explore the continent’s critical engagements with the past, present, and future of Africa’s global entanglements.
As Europe’s largest and most international conference with an African focus, ECAS 9 will be held as a face-to-face event from 31 May to 3 June 2023 in Cologne, Germany. The conference is complemented by a broad range of cultural events all around the City of Cologne.
