Moor Mother is the music project of US musician, activist and author Camae Ayewa. Influenced by punk, rap, noise, jazz and the philosophical ideas of Afrofuturism, she deals with racism and capitalist dystopias in her pieces. Her new, ninth album The Great Bailout is a musical meditation on Britain's colonial history and features guest appearances by renowned musicians such as Lonnie Holley and Angel Bat Dawid. After her last, powerful performance in 2021, she returns to Kaserne to present this album solo.
Support act is temporary Pussy Riot member Anton Ponomarev with a noisy saxophone excess.
