Patrick Effiboley and Didier N'Dah: Multilateral diplomacy and cultural objects: materials from Benin Republic in European museums
The talk will provide insights into the meaning of objects in museum and archaeological contexts, including ongoing processes surrounding the repatriation of objects from European museums to the Republic of Benin and current archaeological mitigation projects related to the planned construction of a new museum site.
The session will be chaired by Professor Anne Haour (University of East Anglia) and the discussant will be Professor Shadreck Chirikure (University of Oxford/University of Cape Town).
